The West Highland Rim Forestry Association is hosting a free webinar series to help landowners be better stewards of their woodlands. The four-part webinar series will be held on consecutive Thursday nights from Feb. 21-March 14 at the Dickson County Emergency Management Agency, 284 Cowan Rd. in Dickson. Each webinar will last from 6-8 p.m. and will consist of three presentations of about 20 minutes each, with additional time for questions, breaks and socializing. Black History Month Trailblazer Award banquet will be held Saturday, Feb. 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the Tennsco Community Center, 201 Tennsco Dr. in Dickson. The annual event honors Dickson Countians who have worked for civil rights in the community. The keynote speaker will be genealogist John F.
