Toys, coats, shoes, clothing and non-perishable food can be dropped off until Dec. 15 at Cash Express, 93 B Mathis Dr. in Dickson and 4437A Highway 70 East in White Bluff.


Ham and Turkey Shoot will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m.-noon at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 2901 Hwy 48N in Dickson. Turkeys are $4 per shot. Hams are $6 per shot. All proceeds help to fund the Christmas baskets project.

Annual Food Drive sponsored by Disabled American Veterans Chapter 28 will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 at Kroger. Food will be distributed to veterans and their families. For information contact Robert Lee at


Clothing Giveaway will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 from 8 -11 a.m. at White Bluff Church of Christ,

4416 Hwy. 70 East in White Bluff. There will be a limit on the number of people in the building and masks will be required. Please bring a mask and your own shopping bags.


Gallery Show “30 Leading Ladies of the Silver Screen: A Retrospective from Harlow to Monroe in color and black and white” of original paintings by artist Terry Donaldson of Charlotte will be on display through Monday, Dec. 7 at The Renaissance Center, 855 Highway 46 in Dickson. Wreaths Across America Day will be held Saturday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at Tomlinson Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is paying for all 12 of the veterans wreaths for our cemetery. Wreaths for other veterans may also be purchased.
