Charles Jacob "Jake" Spicer, age 33, of White Bluff, TN, died suddenly Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center.
He was born in Dickson County, son of Anita Gaye Jackson Bristol and John Alexander Spicer, III. Jake was a heating and air mechanic with J and J Mechanical in Nashville, TN. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dickson, TN. He attended UT in Knoxville.
Jake was an avid sports fan, with his blood running orange, he always supported University of Tennessee Vols, win or lose. He loved basketball, the Nashville Predators and the Tennessee Titans. In his spare time he always loved fishing, always waiting for the next big catch.
He is survived by his daughter Zoey Spicer of Gladeville, TN; his parents, Anita Jackson Bristol and Mike Bristol, John Spicer and Cindy Spicer, all of White Bluff, TN; brother Alex Spicer of Dickson, TN; sister Mishell Bristol of Bon Aqua, TN; step-brother Kenny Beverly of Dickson, TN; and step-sister Juanita Mottor of Ohio. Many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, January 20, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Dr. Mike Miller will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening, January 19, from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.
