Freddy Lynn Biggs was born August 5, 1954, and raised in Nashville, where he attended East Nashville High School. He was a skilled butcher for over 50 years, beginning when he was just a teenager. He loved history, driving on country roads, visiting the mountains, birdwatching, classic cars, all Vandy sports and Titans football. He had a big heart, a big smile and a joke for everyone he ever met. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, friends, his dog Snowy and especially his grandbabies.

Freddy passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at his home in Charlotte after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his wife Claudette Baker Biggs of Charlotte; daughter Cheri (Billy) Harper of Sparta, TN; stepdaughter Samantha (Aaron) Sears of McEwen; stepson Dale Pigg of Charlotte; son Jason (Natalie) Biggs of Houston, TX; brother David (Sandy) Biggs of Taylorsville, KY; sister Debbie (Phil) Harrell of White Bluff; grandchildren, Dane Harper, Zoey Harper, Jax Harper, Sophia Looney, Mason Looney, Jacob Looney, Colin Biggs, and Madden Biggs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Barbara Biggs; and brother Joe Biggs.
