To the Editor:
I am excited to have the opportunity to write to you on behalf of the 1,200 plus members of Plumbers, Pipefitters and HVAC Technicians of Middle Tennessee.
Our members live throughout the Middle Tennessee region, and many reside within Dickson County. Our members serve a challenging five-year apprenticeship prior to achieving the title of Building Trades Journeyman. Throughout their training, they are taught that safety and quality are priority No. 1. These men and women are highly skilled trades workers. This is not just a job for them, it is a career.
These men and women are also invested in our communities. They own property, grow crops and livestock, conduct commerce, attend church, coach Little League and vote in these communities.
To have the opportunity to take part in a project, such as Titan Partners’ fuel storage and distribution facility, so close to their homes would have a great impact on their lives, the lives of their families and certainly their home community. This project would have a positive effect on the Dickson County area, not only from day one, but for years to come.
Titan Partners and the contractors who handle their construction projects are well equipped with the professional know-how to complete this project safely, and continue to maintain the facility per all the necessary standards and regulations.
On behalf of all our members, particularly those who reside in Dickson County, we anxiously await this exciting opportunity.
