Notice is Hereby Given that on  June 16,  of  2020, letters testamentary (or of administration as the case may be) in respect to the estate of  Sarah Katherine Orgain Weatherspoon, who died  01/31/2020  were issued to the undersigned by the Dickson County Chancery Court of Dickson County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court, on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred: (1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or (B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1) (A); or (2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent' s date of death.

Notice is hereby given that Loretta Humphrey of 10383 Tidwell

Drive, Bon Aqua, TN 37025 has on June 23, 2020 filed an

application with the Dickson County Clerk’s Office for a permit to

sell beer for ON premises consumption at 3299 Hwy 46 S, Dickson,

TN 37055 formerly known as Boss Hoggs. Consideration will be

given to the application by the Beer Committee of the Dickson

County Commission at 6:30 PM on August 17, 2020 in the

Dickson County Commissioner’s Courtroom in the Court House

REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE STATE

AND LOCAL FINANCE

We have reviewed the budget submitted to our office by the

Sylvia-Tennessee City-Pond Utility District for the fiscal year

ending June 30, 2020, and it appears that it’s budgeted revenues

will be sufficient to meet anticipate cash expenditures

for the fiscal year.

The Dickson County Board of Education is offering for sale a 1984-

1988 Case International Tractor Model 485 to the highest bidder.

Proceeds from this sale will be deposited to Dickson County

High School. Minimum bid that will be accepted is $5,000.00.

Specifications and inspection of the tractor can be arranged by

contacting Joey Holley, Principal, at 615-218-8407 or Jay Powlas,

Athletic Director, at 615-306-9814. Sealed bids must be mailed or

delivered to Timbra R. Sutton, Dickson County Board of Education,

817 N. Charlotte Street, Dickson, TN 37055 by 10:00 a.m. July 24,

2020. Bid envelope should be clearly marked “1984-1988 Case

International Tractor Model 485”. Bids will be opened privately not

publicly during the School Board regular meeting on July 30, 2020.

Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
