Both Wyatt Gramling and Brenden Adams had long rushing touchdowns while Blair Ortero added his own fumble return for a touchdown on defense as Burns Middle School beat Harpeth Middle School 38-0.

Ortero also added two interceptions on defense. Burns Middle School coach Russell Wells was happy with his team’s effort during the contest.

“Our boys are determined to make the conference championship game with a win against Fairview,” Wells said. “They have been great all year preparing with physical practices, and I could not be any more proud of them than I am now.”

After defeating Harpeth Middle School, Burns went on later in the week to take down Fairview in dominant fashion by a score of 41-0 to punch its ticket to the conference championship.

Burns Middle School will play host to Charlotte on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Dickson County High School’s football stadium.
