After thinking their season was over, the Dickson Middle School Dragons found an opponent in Battle Creek after Battle Creek Middle School’s opponent cancelled on them.
Dickson won 14-6 win thanks to a touchdown pass from Aiden Beard to Graham Peeler and a long touchdown run by Landon Carr. Xavier Knight converted a two-point conversion, as well.
“Once again, our defense was huge,” said Dickson Middle School coach Larry Proffitt. “They came up big with some fourth-down stops, especially in the fourth quarter. It was a great win and a great way to end our season.”
