The Dickson Post has selected its 2019 All-Dickson County soccer team.

Dickson County’s Gracie Buchahan earned Player of the Year honors after a stellar sophomore season. 

Dickson County (16-3) had yet another successful season with coach Chris Cardona at the helm. Nine seniors helped lead the Lady Cougars to the District 11-AAA title for the second straight year. 

Creek Wood (2-12) began a new era under coach Kate Siddall and showed signs of improvement during the season.

Nominations were submitted by both head coaches, and the Dickson Post sports staff made final decisions on the awards. The full team is listed below:

Player of the Year: Gracie Buchanan – Dickson County, Wing

The sophomore was Dickson County’s leading scorer with 18 goals and seven assists. She was also selected as the District 11-AAA Most Valuable Player. 

All-County First Team:

Emily James – Dickson County, Forward: 11 goals, 3 assists

Payton Louth – Dickson County, Midfielder: 8 goals, 6 assists

Samantha Deems – Dickson County, Wing, seven goals, 11 assists

Annabeth Woodard – Dickson County, Midfielder: 3 goals, 6 assists

Kylea Heath – Dickson County, Goalkeeper: 58 saves, 10 shutouts

Meghan Hodi – Dickson County, Defensive Midfielder: 2 goals, 3 assists

Bella Cardona – Dickson County, Outside Back

Rylee Reynolds – Dickson County, Outside Back

Katelyn Underwood – Creek Wood, Forward: team’s leading scorer

Andrea Miller – Creek Wood, Midfielder

Chay Lee – Creek Wood, Goalkeeper
